Recently a team from Jos went on an outreach to a village a few hours away. It was an amazing experience. Hundreds of people anxiously awaited our arrival and were lined up for hours to get medicine. It was the perfect time to talk with them about AIDS since I had a captive audience. I stood on a table in front of hundreds who gathered and shared basic information about HIV/AIDS. I also shared about the hope that can be found in Jesus. It was incredible and really cool to see so many there. We had two clinics over the weekend and saw over 600 people total. It was crazy!!! We showed the Jesus film late one evening and many came to saving faith that night. We pray for this village that many who professed Christ will grow in their faith and become passionate followers of Jesus!
Join me as I journey back to the heart of West Africa. See how our amazing God is working through HIV/AIDS ministry to bring the light of his presence to a dark land. It is sure to be an amazing ride, one that involves great sacrifice and pain, but also abundant joy. For Jesus has called us to die daily so that we might truly live for him.
"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."
